The evening was superb. You can't miss with skilled
performers and beautiful music. The Trillium String Trio and The
North Winds performed a mixture of musical styles from the
nineteenth and twentieth centuries including Sousa, Cohen, Broadway
show tunes, patriotic numbers and modern favorites. The
addition of Tom Anzalone's powerful vocals brought people to their
feet!
It was wonderful to hear music that was most likely performed in the
Opera House 100 years ago, when the compositions and the Opera House
were new.
The performers were:
Trillium String Trio: Agnes McCarthy violin, Christian Hosmer on
cello, John Jadlos on violin and viola, with special guests Chris
Hyde-Hall on keybroad, Tom Anzalone on vocals and Stephanie Widrick on
violin.
The North Winds: Corinne Duda on clarinet, Brenda Curley on
flute, Denise Koser on bassoon, Wendy Whinnery on clarinet and Pat
Sabir on french horn.
